This month had to be different, it had to be.....I had had some rather tough weeks and now this had to change......After a pathetic performance in my end-semz I wanted some place to crash and get my act together.....My skin allergy ,to god knows what, was trying its best to make things even worse.AND then the Mumbai attacks and the useless mails which followed saying WE NEED TO STAND UP AGAINST THESE ACTS, MAINTAIN UNITY and all that crap...In my opinion sending mails is a fake way to make it known that YES I CARE.....If you wanna STAND UP, join the army/bureaucracy/politics OR atleast make the minimum effort of casting your vote....
Anyways, went to Devlali again...Dad got promoted to the rank of a Brigadier...........He threw a grand party at the cantonment's club....THI as its called, serves some great bar-be-que....In my one month stay at Devlali I polished off atleast a dozen plates of this lip smacking thing....The party was great....Met some new people....Answered the same old questions ---- HOWZ LIFE AT IIT.......MY AUNTY'S COUSIN'S DAUGHTER IS DOING THIS FROM THERE,DO YOU KNOW HER................the food was great though.
My skin allergy....I know its too gross to discuss one's skin allergies but as it turns out, it was a psychological thing,as in this happens when you are plagued with loserdome(I made that word).....Parents got pissed off knowing about my not being in high spirits...Dad took me for a drink to THI and gave me some moral boost....Whether it improves me as person remains to be seen.
Momz learnt some new recipes as shez all set to do all those things which she wanted to do but couldnt because of Dee and me....her mashed potato was out of the world and the chocolate ice cream she made was better than any other ice cream that I've had.
Could not manage a girlfriend this time as well...God knows when this scarcity of female friends will end in my life....however I take back with me some compliments and some female attention as well...For the first time some one appreciated my sense of humor....MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The session restarts on 31st december......what kind of sadist reopens the college on 31st December......Packed my bags and I'm off to KGP again.
